Artificial Plants Invades Commercial Space Settings

Most silk plants are used for decoration at home but never on commercial spaces. But that is all in the past now, artificial plants of today are made out of the highest grade materials to cope up with the outdoor elements. Because of technology, makers and designers of these artificial plants have impregnated materials that would make them resistant in sunny and rainy weather. These materials helps the artificial plants to maintain their natural look for a very long time. It is true that we can get many benefits from the natural plants not only in the physical aspect but also mentally. The only problem or disadvantage that we would get in having these natural plants is the fact that they need your time and attention.

Maintenance for these natural plants like, water, fertilizer, pruning and re-potting could be very expensive and tiresome. Unlike the artificial plants, they do not wither and die easily, as well as, they need little or no maintenance at all. The fact that they are very economical to use makes it more salable to home and business owners. One example of the artificial plant that is making it's way in the commercial industry are the drought tolerant plantings in a metal planter. Just like the realistic lavender planting which is mounted in commercial grade high density foam and topped with an assortment of decorative gravel and stones. Artificial plants are now a big part of commercial and landscaping designs. They are trusted by architects, designers, landscapers and home owners to provide long lasting beauty at home or commercially.

Surely, natural plants are very good for the environment but having artificial plants is not that bad at all. Artificial plants are usable in an allergy-free environment and they can be incorporated into low light areas where live plants will not grow.
