Artificial Plants: Beautiful And Practical Decorations

Artificial plants are considered to be beautiful and practical decorations. It is a commendable replacement for natural plants plus the advantage of not having to wither or die in a couple of days. Unlike the real ones, they could last a lifetime if properly taken cared of. They can easily be cleaned and disinfected, especially nowadays, there's a vast majority of fake plants that are made of plastic or fabric. Soaking them in a water solution, rinse and air dry is enough to keep these artificial plants clean.

With real plants, they will need regular water and trimming as wel as fertilizers and pesticides to make sure that they look good all year round. That is of course tiresome because it needs your time and effort. There are virtually no additional actions required for indoor or outdoor artificial plants to keep them looking good than the occasional cleaning. Silk plants and artificial trees are cleaner inside our home because they don't shed leaves and there is no chance of water spillage.

To sum it up, using artificial plants at home means convenience. They remain bright and vibrant when the real thing would loose its color, become limp and flaccid and generally starts to fade away.

Practical And Most Convenient Way To Be With Nature

It always feel different seeing greenery indoors especially in commercial and public places. Visual contact with nature has proven to have an impact on one’s health and well-being. Living in the city takes your vision out of the tall trees, beautiful blooming flowers and breathing fresh air. It is because you are surrounded by huge buildings and polluted air due to vehicles and automobiles. Good thing they were able to come up with or create man-made or artificial plants to these public areas, like malls, restaurants, and office buildings. The effects of natural and artificial plants may have a big difference especially on one’s health and wellness, but somehow it is a good substitute for the real plants.

We all have inherent inclination to affiliate with nature and in most cultures, both the past and the present; one can truly observe behavior reflecting fondness to these plants. As a result of this fondness, we always have a tendency to add elements of nature. That is actually a universal human feature, and is presumably, a response to the biophilc quality of the human mind. Although, indoor artificial plants may not have the advantages of the natural plants to the over-all health and well-being of humans, but still they do have their own advantages to make our lives much easier. Unlike the real plants, artificial plants do not need any water, air, sunlight and fertilizers, in short, artificial plants are maintenance free.  Plus, you could still achieve that nature-looking surrounding indoors all year round.

For me, artificial plants are more practical and convenient to use compared to the living ones. People often think that artificial plants are a bit old-fashioned and don’t look real enough. But, that is all in the past, artificial plants have also evolved in design and the materials they are using are becoming more life-like and is very easy to maintain and clean. Best of all, they've become much more affordable and available at any shop or store.
