The Great Niagara Falls Adventure II

Today is our second day at the Niagara Falls Park. We woke up early in the morning and ate breakfast at the hotel's restaurant because they are serving a buffet. After eating, we went back to our room to get ready for that day's adventure. Since, we are done with the White Water Walk and Journey behind the Falls the other day, we were planning on riding aboard the historical and world-famous Maid of the Mist and stand on a massive platform of Niagara's Fury. We rode on the WEGO Bus from our hotel up to the Niagara Park Botanical Gardens because we heard from one of the guests of the hotel that the place was amazing and so, we wanted to see the Botanical Gardens first before the Niagara Falls Adventure. After ten minutes we arrive at the location and got astounded by how they were able to create such a beautiful landscape of flowers and plants. We also went to the part where they are growing herbs and saw the wonderful outdoor green walls. At first sight I thought that the walls were artificial green walls but up close they were real vines.

We took a lot of pictures and went back to the Falls where the real action is happening. Then we stand in line to wait for our turn to ride on the Maid of Mist. It's a half hour cruise from the Canadian docks past the base of American Falls, then into the basin of the magnificent Canadian Horseshoe Falls. Then we proceed to Niagara's Fury, my son really enjoyed the Niagara's Fury compared to other attractions because they are using a 4D Universal Studios Style attraction. There's an eight minute animated pre-show where charming woodland characters explain how the Ice Aged formed Niagara Falls. Since it was cold inside the Niagara's Fury my husband and I decided to drink something hot. So we went for a cup of coffee at Tim Hortons but my son insisted on eating at Cold Stone Creamery. So we just ordered a to-go coffee and went straight to cold creamery to satisfy the wants of our son. we waited there so that we could watch the Fireworks Display.

Everything that we have experienced on that two days was really memorable and and I wish that it's not gonna be a once in a lifetime experience because I hope that we could go back there and try other stuff that we have missed out. We always Thank God for giving us the opportunity to travel and to enjoy life with the people who matters the most to us, Our Family.

All About Coffee

We love to drink coffee, especially us Filipinos we can't let a day pass without us drinking the most relaxing drink of all, coffee. But did you know where coffees are made of? Coffee is a brewed beverage that is prepared from the roasted seeds of several species of a evergreen shrub of the genus Coffea. Last time, I talk about Starbucks on my blog, but today let me feature a Coffee House that my cousin and his friends often meet and hang out with. If Starbucks is already known internationally, 1369 Coffee house is known locally in Massachusetts. They were able to expand into two stores, one is at Inman Square and the other is at Central Square. They become a fan of these coffee shop because they serve the best coffees and teas in Massachusetts and they have the best crew and baristas.

The 1369 Coffee Shop first opened in January of 1993 at 1369 Cambridge Street in Cambridge's Inman Square. It is formerly a house of the 1369 Jazz Club, but for some reason the Jazz Club was closed down and they turned it into a coffee shop instead. 1369 Coffee Shop isn't just any ordinary shop because they are striving to create a comfortable, inviting atmosphere and to be an integral part of the community. Many friendships including marriages have developed at 1369. Several books and many theses have been written at their tables, thus it makes them to be a good neighbor and a local gathering place. They are very dedicated in maintaining these healthy and beautiful relationship in the community.

1369 Coffee Shop serves up to two dozen varieties of coffee from around the world which is roasted fresh bu local roasters. Everyday they would brew coffee of the house of Colombian and French Roast Coffees as well as rotating varietal. They also serve espresso drinks like the Macchiato and the Capuccino as well as number of Specialty Hot, Iced and Frozen drinks. They also serve Breakfast and Lunch and cookies and coconut macaroons that are baked in house everyday. Just like any other establishment they also take pride in the interior and exterior decorations of their shop. Outside you would see lovely plants at the sidewalk and artificial hanging flowers with their menu written on a signage. Hope you could visit their coffee shop in those two location in Massachusetts and taste their delectable menus and their most love coffees.

Legoland Theme Park in Malaysia

Disneyland used to be the most popular attraction here in Asia located in Hong Kong, but today let me introduce you to Legoland situated in Malaysia and the first in Asia. Like Disneyland, Legoland is also a theme park but it is unique compared to Disneyland because of the Lego creations that were being displayed around the theme park. What really caught my attention were the Miniland, they are the centerpieces of every Legoland Park. It took them three long years and more than thirty million Lego bricks to recreate some of Asia's best known landmarks in detailed miniature. Guests, tourist and visitors can stroll through the famous scenes from 17 Asian countries, which includes The Petronas Twin Towers, the Merlion Statue,Taj Mahal, Forbidden City and the Wat Arun. All are beautifully handcrafted and detailed to perfect the look of the real ones. They used artificial trees and artificial ferns and junipers for the greens around the famous scenes of some Asian country.

I was watching at one of the local channels here in our country and they were celebrating the show's anniversary. As a week celebration they went to Malaysia and one of their itineraries is to visit Legoland because the host of the show has her kids go with her on that trip and she wanted her kids to enjoy too. On the day that they visited Legoland the kids were all excited and upon arriving at the Themed Park, they were greeted and welcomed by the management and were escorted by the tourist guide on that park together with the site manager. The kids went to enjoy some of the interactive rides, they tried almost half of the 40 rides while the hosts and tourist guide roam around to see some shows and attractions. Compared to the pictures on the internet it is much better to see the Lego creations and the Miniland in Hd view.

After seeing that our local artist were promoting the place, my family and I were enchanted and captivated with the Legoland Theme Park and we have decided to visit Malaysia for a vacation as soon as possible or for a Christmas vacation maybe. It still depends because our son just started to go to school plus the classes just started last week, so definitely we'll be visiting Malaysia during their school break. We will make sure not to let this once in a lifetime chance slip away. See you soon Malaysia!

Celebrating Only At The Best Hotel

A friend of mine who is currently residing in United Arab of Emirates called me up through Skype last weekend, she just called to inform me about some good news. She and her husband went for a check-up at her Gynecologist and she found out that she is pregnant. It was really a good news for us all, because they were married a year ago and luckily got pregnant after a year of waiting. They were staying in a hotel in Dubai just for the weekend because they were celebrating such good news. We were very happy for both of them and for the new blessing in their family. Aside from the good news, I ask her why did she choose to stay at the Millennium Hotel instead of any other Five Star hotel in Dubai. She explained that her cousin will be arriving the following day and since it is near the airport it would be easier for them to fetch her cousin. It's like hitting two birds with one stone.

They will be celebrating that night by dining in at the Gozo Garden Restaurant of the Millennium Airport Hotel. She described to me how the Gozo Garden looked like. I got a bit curious and searched it online through the Millennium Hotel website. They have nice seating arrangements plus the two Custom Made Fabricated Indoor trees in the middle was the eye-catching piece of all decorations, the wall and ceiling lighting made the restaurant a beautiful place to dine. They serve international buffet all day and has live entertainment at night with the 'Los Hidalgos' a band from Cuba. After an hour of talk, my friend had to say goodbye because they need to prepare before going to the restaurant. I asked her to post some photos of their weekend getaway at the Millennium Hotel and she agreed and said our goodbyes and missing you lines for each other.

Last night, when she finally had the time she posted some photos of her and her husband. Every photo captured was filled with happiness and full of love. Everything was so special for them and they were very pleased to have celebrated it with Millennium Hotel. They said that every penny is worth it, because the people and accommodation overall was satisfactory.
