Grasses That Are Benecial to Both Humans and Animals

There are many kinds of grasses that grow in our garden everyday. We seldom notice them because we only focus on the blooming flowers and the tall trees that we are maintaining on our backyard. In some places, particularly in suburban areas throughout the world, homeowners are responsible in maintaining the grass lawn for the overall appearance of their neighborhood. Grass also plays an important role in many sports especially with those played on fields like football, baseball, rugby, golf, and tennis. But sometimes, when some sports facilities and indoor domes were hard or difficult to maintain, they are using artificial and synthetic-grass like materials.

Grasses are also very beneficial to both animals and humans. Many types of animals eat grass as their main source of food these include cattle, sheep, horses, rabbits, and many invertebrates, such as grasshoppers and caterpillars of many brown butterflies. They have also been used for paper-making and the most important food crops are the grains of grasses such as wheat, grass and barley. One of the tallest grass that is grown locally in our place are bamboos. They are one of the fastest growing plants on Earth, however, the growth rate is dependent on local soil and climatic conditions.

Architects and Designers also uses bamboo for interior and exterior decorations, but since they grow so fast and needs trimming all the time, Planters Unlimited, which is one of the trusted manufacturer today, came up with the idea of creating UV-Resistant Artificial Bamboo for indoor and outdoor use. This is very convenient since it doesn't need water or maintenance like the real ones but at the same time you would still achieve the tall and fresh looking ornament that you have always wanted. These artificial bamboo plants are available at any store or you could also purchase them online. They are sold by the foot or custom made to fit your home or residential space.
