Be Ready For The Rainy Season

For the past month, rain has been pouring so bad. The level of water outside our home is like a kiddie pool already and the little garden that we have are also overflowing with water. Summer season had pass so fast and now there aren't even a trace of the dry and cracked soil that was the result of summer. All the trouble that my husband has gone through just to finish the mini-garden has gone into waste. My mother-in-law suggested that we should just invest on collecting the artificial plants instead of the real ones. At least we won't go through the same hassle of planting them only in the end they will be washed out and drowned by too much water. My husband and I decided that instead of a mini garden outside, we will just buy and collect artificial indoor succulent plants like, cactus, aloe bush, fat sedum bush, agave plant, euphoria and many varieties that we could choose from either at the supermarket or at any store that sells artificial plants.

Rain is actually good, especially for the farmers because they have been waiting for the rainfall to help them with their plants and root crops, or whatever product that their land produces to help them earn a living. But sometimes, too much rain or what we call typhoons can also damage and kill not just plants, trees and animals but also can damage our properties and can even kill a number of lives. These natural disasters are something that we can not stop once it hit us, or our country for that matter. All we should do is to at least save ourselves and our loved ones if we can and forget about our properties. Material things can be acquired anytime because that is something money can buy, but the lives that we lost can never be brought back because we only live once and can die once as well.

We should be thankful for all the living and non-living things that our Dear God has endowed us. Although nowadays, man can replicate everything and can turn natural into artificial ones, but we should also remember that our intelligence, skills and abilities were also given by God, and whatever he has given he can always take it back if he sees that we are using it the wrong way.
