Home Is Where The Heart Is

Everyone feels more secure and comfortable when they are at home. Most of the time, we worry about how our own home would look like, but how they make us feel, emotionally and physically is far more important. We can define home as not a mere transient shelter, but, it's true essence lies in the personalities of the people who lives in it. That is because, we lavish not only money but also our time and creativity on our homes. And in return, they give us comfort, pleasure and sanctuary. Renovation of any material things to adding of indoor plants matter less, because what really matters is the fact that, our living spaces should nourish who we are, could buffer us from stress and provides opportunities both for privacy and socializing with family and friends.

Home remedies require an individual touch. And most of the time the decoration or paintings that we add to our home holds something that we love or it's something that would remind us of a place where we have been. Research shows that, particularly when life is difficult, being near things that could remind us of better times helps restore our happiness. Feathering a personal nest can definitely make our homes more soothing. And this desire for a special haven is no luxury but a deep biological need. I just recently added a tropical elegance protea arrangement in my own safe haven at home. Because just by looking at these silk floral arrangement, it reminds me of how my husband and I met. The good thing about artificial flower, is that they do not wither and no maintenance is really required compared to the real ones.

There are actually many activities we can do at home to lighten and brighten us up. We can also benefit from the views of our backyards, a sky scape or even a window box. All you have to do is just sit back, apply some fresh thought and you will definitely receive the gifts of your home.
