Artificial Plants: Beautiful And Practical Decorations

Artificial plants are considered to be beautiful and practical decorations. It is a commendable replacement for natural plants plus the advantage of not having to wither or die in a couple of days. Unlike the real ones, they could last a lifetime if properly taken cared of. They can easily be cleaned and disinfected, especially nowadays, there's a vast majority of fake plants that are made of plastic or fabric. Soaking them in a water solution, rinse and air dry is enough to keep these artificial plants clean.

With real plants, they will need regular water and trimming as wel as fertilizers and pesticides to make sure that they look good all year round. That is of course tiresome because it needs your time and effort. There are virtually no additional actions required for indoor or outdoor artificial plants to keep them looking good than the occasional cleaning. Silk plants and artificial trees are cleaner inside our home because they don't shed leaves and there is no chance of water spillage.

To sum it up, using artificial plants at home means convenience. They remain bright and vibrant when the real thing would loose its color, become limp and flaccid and generally starts to fade away.

Practical And Most Convenient Way To Be With Nature

It always feel different seeing greenery indoors especially in commercial and public places. Visual contact with nature has proven to have an impact on one’s health and well-being. Living in the city takes your vision out of the tall trees, beautiful blooming flowers and breathing fresh air. It is because you are surrounded by huge buildings and polluted air due to vehicles and automobiles. Good thing they were able to come up with or create man-made or artificial plants to these public areas, like malls, restaurants, and office buildings. The effects of natural and artificial plants may have a big difference especially on one’s health and wellness, but somehow it is a good substitute for the real plants.

We all have inherent inclination to affiliate with nature and in most cultures, both the past and the present; one can truly observe behavior reflecting fondness to these plants. As a result of this fondness, we always have a tendency to add elements of nature. That is actually a universal human feature, and is presumably, a response to the biophilc quality of the human mind. Although, indoor artificial plants may not have the advantages of the natural plants to the over-all health and well-being of humans, but still they do have their own advantages to make our lives much easier. Unlike the real plants, artificial plants do not need any water, air, sunlight and fertilizers, in short, artificial plants are maintenance free.  Plus, you could still achieve that nature-looking surrounding indoors all year round.

For me, artificial plants are more practical and convenient to use compared to the living ones. People often think that artificial plants are a bit old-fashioned and don’t look real enough. But, that is all in the past, artificial plants have also evolved in design and the materials they are using are becoming more life-like and is very easy to maintain and clean. Best of all, they've become much more affordable and available at any shop or store.

Turning To A Helthy Diet

Edible fruits have become a human's food source or sometimes a substitute for a full meal because of it's nutritional benefits especially for those who are health conscious. In botany, a fruit is a part of a flowering plant that derives from specific tissue of the flower, one or more ovaries, and in some cases accessory tissue. Fruits are the means by which these plants disseminate seeds. In particular, many of them that bear edible fruits have propagated with the movements of humans and animals in a symbiotic relationship as a means for seed dispersal and nutrition. Fruits account for a substantial fraction of the world's agricultural output, and some, such as apple and the pomegranate, have acquired extensive cultural and symbolic meanings.

Ever since childhood, I would always hear my mom saying that I should eat fruits and vegetables. At that time, I know that it is nutritious and my growing body needs it, but all I can see are chocolates, candies and junk foods. Now, that I have my own family and I'm trying to manage my weight a little bit, I have finally turned to fruit and vegetables as a healthy diet. Fruits and vegetables provides essential vitamins and minerals, fiber and other substances that are important for good health, they can also reduce the risk of cancer and other chronic diseases. Good thing is that my son loves fruits and vegetables, I don't have to scare him to make him eat.

I made sure to place a basket of fruits at the dining table, not just for decoration but for our consumption. But lately, I have noticed that every morning there would be small bites on the fruits. The mouse are eating them at night when everyone is asleep or when nobody is around. So, I have decided to keep them in the fridge and replace it with an artificial mixed fruit centerpiece. And also, put some traps to catch those annoying little creatures. Now, I am sure that the fruits are safe and the freshness are preserved, while inside the fridge.

Environmentally Friendly And Safe Artificial Trees

Artificial plants are more of into decorations and design, since they can't help much in the environment unlike the natural plants. But there are artificial plants and trees nowadays that are safer compared to before, because of the availability of fire retardant artificial foliage. Planters Unlimited, is a manufacturer of pots and planters, as well as these artificial plants and different hedges too, came up to this idea of impregnating the branches and leaves with fire retardant chemicals during the injection molding process that is to protect consumers of the risks associated with flammable products. They too, have this consideration to the buyers, the business owners and the environment as a whole.

One of their famous product that is displayed mostly in commercial spaces, is the Fire Retardant Giant Pine Oak with Natural Trunk. Unlike the real pine oak tree which grows to at least 600 square ft., you can buy them customize to the size you want or you could buy the already made ones which is 10 ft tall. These artificial plant are very budget friendly because of their low maintenance nature and can also be a solution to your long-term design budget. As a buyer and a user as well, you are assured that the materials used are all of its finest and highest quality and they too are constructed with fire retardants woven into their composition from the inside and out. By using these method, the the fire resistant plants meets the commercial safety codes, yet the plants and trees still retain their genuinely natural look and feel.
