Artificial plants had taken a great impact in design and home improvement in our daily lives. At first, people seldom use artificial plants because it has less benefits especially in the environment. These artificial plants may not need water and light to thrive but it also needs your time and effort for cleaning and ensuring that their beauty will not fade soon.There are many ways to clean an artificial plant some are using the very basic cleaning solution which is the water and a clean damp cloth. But because of the water the leaves or the parts of an artificial plant gets wet and thus, making it more vulnerable to dust and dirt. Another option to clean them are using some salt and a paper bag. All you have to do is put the salt into a paper bag and add the flowers or the artificial plant itself. Shake vigorously as the salt will absorb all the dust and the dirt an it will definitely leave your flowers looking like new. I have tested and proven it a few times already. But these type of cleaning solution only works for the small artificial plants like that of a hanging basket with artificial plants or flowers.
If you will be cleaning a bigger arrangement of artificial plants, that make's it harder and costly for the cleaning to be effective. Artificial plants made from silk can be both beautiful and practical since they do not need the care that living plants need, such as watering and fertilizing, but they will still require regular cleaning to look their best. It sometimes can really be confusing to clean the plant without damaging it. Dusting the flowers using a feather duster is the quickest and easiest method for cleaning these artificial plants but is one of the least ineffective. Another way is by washing the flowers with soap and water, although this the most effective way to clean but it can easily cause damage to them by warping the fabric or loosening the glue. You could also buy cans of compressed air that are sold in office supply stores for keeping computer keyboards clean, the sprayer can loosen stubborn dust pretty effectively but has the risk of dislodging delicately glued parts of the flowers.
Or you could use the expensive method but can be very effective and does not damage your artificial plants.They are the silk flower cleaning spray, these sprays are specially designed or specially formulated to dissolve dust on contact. It is very easy to use, you could just spray and watch the dust disappear and it does not leave any sticky residue. Whatever method we are using to clean our artificial plants at home or in the office make sure that it will not cause harm to the surroundings or the people around us.
