Beauty in Artificial Ferns

Plants are great for indoor and outdoor decorations, they turn one living room into a beautiful space for accepting guests and to share your stories to the whole family. Artificial plants are also becoming a trend when it comes to decorations and accenting one space at home, office or any business or residential space. When it comes to artificial plants production or manufacturing name, there is only one name that we could trust and that is Artificial Plants Unlimited by Hooks and Lattice. They make artificial plants look so much lifelike, and uses materials only of the highest quality and has passed the international standards.

One of the plants that I really like is the fish-tail fern, I am glad that Artificial Plants Unlimited have them already. Fish-tail ferns have many uses and attracts attentions of any guests by it's beautiful leaves. The fish-tail fern came from or is a natural mutant of the species commonly called the "climbing bird's nest fern" and is common to Asia, Africa and Polynesia. It got it's name or was given the name fish-tail fern because the leaves or fronds are crested or forked resembling the tail of a fish. The popularity of the fish-tail fern has slowly flourished since its introduction to Europe through Netherlands. Thus, production of the fish-tail fern in a commercial-scale opens for both the local and foreign affairs. It will not only meet the growing demands for this plant but also provides additional livelihood opportunities to growers.

Having an artificial fish-tail fern at home saves you time from growing the real one and taking care of it. Although, just like any other regular plant , the fish-tail fern is not difficult to grow but it still needs cautious and tedious process like propagation and fertilization to ensure a healthy growth of the plant. Artificial plants are good alternatives of the natural plants especially if used as decorations at home because they will not wither and die just like the real plants do.

Uses of Aloe Vera Plant

One of the many plants that I have known with many uses is the Aloe Vera. It has a stemless or very short -stemmed succulent plant spreading by offset. This type of plant will always be present in every garden of any household because of it's many uses. I used to hate watering them when I was a kid, because it took up my time for playing with my friends every morning and as well as in the afternoon. Now, I have come to realize that my grandmother is right, we should take care of the plants that we have in our garden because they may be very useful to us especially the medicinal plants. They can be a home remedy for many accidents, like cuts, burns, and bruises as well as good for the hair and skin treatment. It also has many health benefits because it is rich in vitamins and minerals and it also supports digestion and detoxification and many more.

Having my own family now, I want to pass on that knowledge regarding this very helpful plant. together with some of the medicinal plants, we planted the Aloe Vera at our backyard, so in cases of emergencies we could use them. I wanted to bring some of the Aloe Vera at the office, but my office mates do not like the smell of it. I explained to them that the plant is just for display as a decor to my desk. But then they still oppose it. I was thinking of bringing some Bonsai instead of the Aloe Vera to the office, but one day, to my surprise, I saw a 22" Soft Touch Aloe Bush beside my table. They have bought an indoor artificial plant instead, in that way our office won't be so smelly because of the real Aloe Vera plant.

I was very pleased with the gift that they had bought me, although it's not the real one, at least, it doesn't look artificial. It is incredibly lifelike plus it's maintenance free. It really gave a different look to my desk, seeing the plant made our working environment into a more comfortable and happy place.

Be Ready For The Rainy Season

For the past month, rain has been pouring so bad. The level of water outside our home is like a kiddie pool already and the little garden that we have are also overflowing with water. Summer season had pass so fast and now there aren't even a trace of the dry and cracked soil that was the result of summer. All the trouble that my husband has gone through just to finish the mini-garden has gone into waste. My mother-in-law suggested that we should just invest on collecting the artificial plants instead of the real ones. At least we won't go through the same hassle of planting them only in the end they will be washed out and drowned by too much water. My husband and I decided that instead of a mini garden outside, we will just buy and collect artificial indoor succulent plants like, cactus, aloe bush, fat sedum bush, agave plant, euphoria and many varieties that we could choose from either at the supermarket or at any store that sells artificial plants.

Rain is actually good, especially for the farmers because they have been waiting for the rainfall to help them with their plants and root crops, or whatever product that their land produces to help them earn a living. But sometimes, too much rain or what we call typhoons can also damage and kill not just plants, trees and animals but also can damage our properties and can even kill a number of lives. These natural disasters are something that we can not stop once it hit us, or our country for that matter. All we should do is to at least save ourselves and our loved ones if we can and forget about our properties. Material things can be acquired anytime because that is something money can buy, but the lives that we lost can never be brought back because we only live once and can die once as well.

We should be thankful for all the living and non-living things that our Dear God has endowed us. Although nowadays, man can replicate everything and can turn natural into artificial ones, but we should also remember that our intelligence, skills and abilities were also given by God, and whatever he has given he can always take it back if he sees that we are using it the wrong way.

Be Wise In Choosing Products

Artificial Plants are good ways to replace the real plants, if you are cutting cost with the maintenance and also the good thing about it, is that if placed outdoors, animals will not be able to eat them. Fertilizers and pesticides are also not needed. A lot of of our establishments today rely on these artificial plants as a decoration and they can also block the sights of the passersby from the blemishes of the establishments. Some artificial plants are especially designed for safety, like the fire and flame retardant and as well as the UV rays protected outdoor plants and hedges. There are many uses for these artificial plants, we just have to make sure to choose the plant that would be appropriate to our needs and wants.

There are many manufacturers of these artificial plants and trees, but only a few, like the Artificial Plants Unlimited by Hooks and Lattice, who uses the best and safest materials to ensure the safety of every home, establishments and many more public or private spaces. Speaking about safety and precautions, I would also like to have these at home especially the pink fire retardant bougainvillea bush, although these plants are not totally fireproof, they can at least repel flames, which might be a means to slow down the spreading of fire. As a result, if the fire will be detected right away at least some of your properties will be saved and will not go down with the fire. We have to think ahead of us, because accidents can happen anytime, we have to at least take extra care and precautions for our home and establishments, that is to protect our properties and investments that we have built.

It is a good thing that nowadays, people are very smart in buying products in the market. They would always make sure to choose those that they really need and is of highest quality. Although, these products might be expensive because of the materials that was used but at least they can be assured that it will stay for a long time. Unlike those products that are bought cheaply but it will only last for two or three uses. It is not practical at all, we should always think of the long term instead of the price tag.

Happy Sunday!

On my previous blog, I talked about our night out with my friends in Manila. Today, this blog is about our movie date experience in Eastwood. It was all raining that Sunday afternoon when Marj pick us up at Mitch's place. We decided to first hear the mass then eat some dinner and go watch Wolverine. Before going to church, we went to pick up Pia and Jayce at Filinvest Subdivision. When we finally arrive at Padre Pio Church in Libis, the mass is almost over. While waiting for the next mass to start, we lighted some candles and prayed wholeheartedly. All the while we thought that the mass would start immediately right after the of the mass ended. but, that was not the case. The next mass would start an hour later. Since, we are all hungry and can no longer wait for another hour because the movie that we will be seeing will start at 7.50 pm so we don't have time to spare at all. We left the church, and head directly to Eastwood.

We bought some tickets first, before we ate dinner to reserve our seats. We ate at Bon Chon, a chicken house that originated from South Korea last 2002 and made it's waves in the global arena last 2007 as it entered the US Market. Since it is my first time eating at that type of restaurant, I let Mitch ordered food on my behalf because I'm not sure what to eat as well. She ordered a 2pcs chicken combo meal and a bowl of chapchae. Unlike other chicken restaurant or fast food chain, Bon Chon chickens are super crispy outside due to the glazed that covers it's skins yet light and not greasy inside. That is the great difference that I saw compared to other restaurants serving chicken as their main course. Chapchae on the other hand was super delicious because it uses potato noodles, it is sweet and very nutritious too. The store looks very attractive as well because of the ceiling and walls lights as well as the outdoor artificial sword fern that is located near the doorway.

We went to watch the movie and I really enjoyed the whole movie experience. I could rate Wolverine as 8 out of 10 because I love the story as well as the fighting scenes and the story was not boring. I'm looking forward to the next movie, I got really excited seeing Magneto and Professor X together as a team and not as enemies. I went home directly after watching the movie and really felt contented by how I spent my weekend in Manila. I was thankful to Mitch who prepared our itinerary for that day and looking forward to my next vacation because she promised that we will visit either Tagaytay or Baguio or even both.

Trip to Jeju!

One of the best island in the world can not only be found here in the Philippines but also in Korea. Since I am a fan of some Korean celebrities, I also love Koreanovelas especially the romance/comedy genre. If these celebrities wants to get away from it all, from the everyday stress of work, the pressure of upcoming movies or they just want to simply take a rest and breath a little bit of fresh air, Jeju Island is the best place to relax and unwind. Jeju island is located in the southwest of the Korean Peninsula and it is also a volcanic island that is oval shape-like that measures 73km from west to east, and 31 km from north to south. It's not only the celebrities who loves to get away in Jeju Island but also business tycoons and and even just the normal people who wants to experience the allure of Jeju.

Jejudo Island is sometimes called as "Samdado Island" it means the "three many" because of the rocks, women and wind that they are abundant with. Being surrounded with the ocean means having a wind that blows steadily and the past volcanic activities brought and scattered an assortment of beautiful and unusually-shaped black rocks. I once saw in one of the TV shows in Korea stating why they have so many women in the Island. The main character was asked on how is she gonna present or describe Jeju Island to the whole world in one word. Without hesitations she answered that Jejudo Island can be compared to a "Mother". She explained that when most men were lost at sea, the women became responsible for their own families and diving became the primary means of income for the village. Women would go diving to collect shellfish, and edible seaweeds so that by the end of the day, they could provide food for their children. I was really moved by her answer, because it also shows how important women were and it's not only the men who are capable to bring a large part of the family's income.

If given the opportunity to visit Korea, I would definitely stop by the Jejudo island to experience everything that the island has to offer. I would never miss the chance on checking the modern cocoon house, which is a luxurious condominium that has an outdoor pool overlooking the sea, kitchen and living areas, a conference zone, a small library and a rooftop garden that has customized outdoor fabricated trees. The most unique feature is the "cocoon" structure in the middle of the house which is a great space for a living room. For more information about Jejudo Island you can visit their website for maps, activities, investment opportunities, attractions, and most especially accommodations.

Viva Geneva!

I have been featuring some of the best hotels in the world on my blog and yesterday Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Mecca Clock Royal Tower was recently named as the largest hotel in the world. And so, on this blog of mine I wanted to feature the most expensive hotel suites in the world. I have been researching on-line and found out that travel.cnn.com has a top 15 list of the most expensive suites in the world. It was not really a surprise after seeing that a hotel in Geneva, Switzerland made it to the top. It is a Royal Penthouse Suite at Hotel President Wilson. As per Wikipedia, Geneva is the second most populous city after Zurich in Switzerland but is the most populous city of Romandy, a place in Switzerland where they are using French as a first language.

Although Geneva didn't ranked first in the last survey for the most important financial center for competitiveness by the Global Financial Centres Index, Geneva made it to the top 5 for bragging the fourth and the fifth place in being the most expensive city in the world. Hotel President Wilson is a luxury collection of hotels by Starwood Hotels and Resorts, it is located in 47 Quai Wilson , and just steps away from one of the most beautiful parks in Geneva and ideally facing the magnificent panorama of the lake and Mont-blanc. Hotel President Wilson has a total of 180 rooms and 48 suites and all of the rooms has been luxuriously renovated to offer both full comfort and relaxation and of course the most advanced technology of today. The Royal Penthouse Suite which is located on the hotel's highest floor is known throughout the world as the largest and most luxurious hotel suite having 12 rooms and 12 bathrooms with bullet-proof windows and doors. It is a perfect safe house for those privacy-conscious celebrities and visiting heads of state, it also has it's own elevator. The room holds a Steinway grand piano, billiard room, library and private fitness center and private terrace with Fire Retardant Topiaries and Trees which are safe solution for adding faux plant life.

The Royal Penthouse Suite is very unique in terms of luxury and comfort and guarantees guests who wants privacy a maximum security level. This suite is essentially a house and costs about the same with a rate of US$65,000 per night. For more information about the rooms and suite's features and amenities you could go to their website and you could also check for on going promos and packages available.
